A vintage streetwear storefront built for school. Rotating one-of-one stock, a working cart, and a brand voice that commits to the bit: no restocks, no replicas, once it's gone it's archived.
Archive Dept. is a vintage clothing storefront built as a school project. The premise drove the whole design: the stock is one-of-one, so the site had to make scarcity feel like the point rather than a limitation. "No restocks. No replicas. Once it's gone, it's archived for good."
The build covers a full storefront — a landing page, a browsable vintage collection, product listings with size and price, search, an About page carrying the brand story, and a cart with a live order summary and running subtotal. Free shipping over $50, because the copy had to sound like a real Singapore shop.
Visually it leans hard on high-contrast black and white with a single amber utility bar, oversized grotesque type, and full-bleed product photography. The restraint is deliberate: when every product is unique, the layout's job is to get out of the way and let the garment carry the page.
It's the second e-commerce build I've done after Ecofy, and the difference shows in the details — cart state that persists across pages, a search field wired to the catalogue, and a checkout flow that holds together instead of stopping at a static mockup.
